Last night we hosted our first e-coaching..
This was a video conference meeting that clients could join in on where they each had a "hot seat" to talk about what's working, what they're struggling with, and what questions do they have.
It was our first time doing it, and it was a nice blend of community with multiple people, valuable feedback from the coaches, and the clients leaning on each other for support.
One of the things that I got continually reminded of was this...
We all have the potential within us.
We all have the answers within us.
With some small probing, and asking the right questions, all clients talk themselves through the answer to their own questions, they just needed a platform to have time to think about it.
All we did was just ask the right questions :)
One of my favorite questions to ask is this...
If we were having this discussion 12 months from now and you were looking back over those 12 months, what has to have happened in your life, both personally and professionally, for you to feel happy with your progress? Specifically, what concerns do you now have that need to be eliminated? What opportunities need to be captured? What strengths need to be maximized?
What are the top 3 things that need to change or have to happen for you to get there?
If you can answer those questions, you'll be on the path to success in no time.
You have the answers right in front of you, you just need someone or something to coach you through it and hold you accountable.
As always, the cool thing about this stuff is you could take the above question and twist it into the category of goal setting, whether it's fitness, family, finances, or career goals.
Take some time today and answer the above question...
What are 3 things that need to change for you to be happy with your progress?
1% Better.
