I'm still trying to get my head above water.
It's January in the fitness world, which means it's overtime 7 days a week to stay caught up.
I'll make today quick before I get back to work.
As we get ready to settle in and watch some great football this weekend, I wanted to give you another "Weekend Warrior Workout."
This workout can be done anywhere, anytime, and is perfect to get some extra work in over the weekend or sneak it in during the week if life gets in the way of you getting to the gym.
Here's what I put together for you.
The title of each exercise is clickable to a video demonstration.
Spiderman w/ Thoracic Spine Rotation: 4-6 Reps On Each Side
Lateral Lunge: 8-10 Reps on Each Side
Push-Ups: 8-12 Reps
Plank Walkouts: 3 Times In & Out
Flutter Kicks: 15-20 Times
High Knees: 30-45 Seconds
Try For 6 Rounds
Go through each exercise for the reps outlined above.
Rest after you went through each exercise once.
That's one set.
Rest as needed.
Repeat 3-6 times depending on ability.
I also highly suggest, although the weather will dictate, that you get out of the house and maybe supplement this with some outdoor activities like snowshoeing, skiing, or just a walk.
It helps with the dreary times of winter.
