It Happened Again...

Three times.

Three times!

That was the number of times Mary (name changed for story) had pulled into our parking lot to check us out, sat in the car, and after a minute, pulled around and left, never opening the glass door to our entrance.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting with Mary, and I'm happy to say Mary is now the newest member of our Spurling Fitness Family.

That happens to all of us, every day, all day, and it's totally okay.

That specific story I have probably heard a dozen times, at least.

Asking for help is hard and scary.

Change is hard and scary.

Walking through the doors, not really knowing what to expect, is hard.

I give all the credit in the world to Mary, that took a lot of guts, and now I hope she has a great experience at Spurling and we can make an impact on her life.

But this happens every day...

We want to make a phone call, but we stare at the phone, and never press the call button.

We want to tell someone how we feel about them, good or bad, and at the last minute, we decide to change up the conversation.

We have this new idea we want to implement, but at the last minute we find one more reason why it might not work, so we back down.

We want to get in shape, show up at the gym, ask for help, but we feel we're not going to fit in, we're not going to be able to keep up, and we're going to stick out like a sore thumb.

What does all of this ultimately come back to?

FEAR.

Well with fear, you have to choices.

Forget Everything And Run

Or...

Face Everything And Rise

Obviously, I'm going to recommend you go with the the second choice :)

Life is scary...

Joining a gym is scary...

Taking action is scary...

But you really only have two choices, run away, or rise above it.

We're here to help you rise above it.

1% Better.

Dedicated to Your Success,

Doug Spurling
