Advice From 34,000 Feet!?

Happy Thursday, from 34,000 feet!

As I said yesterday, I’m in the air headed to Louisville, Kentucky.

Why?

To be coached…

And that’s what I want to talk about today.

Are you coachable?

I’m headed to Kentucky to consult with one of my business coaches.

Yes, I run a business, but I still have coaches that help keep everything on track.

Just like I suggest you have a coach for fitness, I have a coach for almost every aspect of my life.

A life coach…

A business/marketing coach…

A financial coach…

I've had coaches by my side since day one of business, and I’ve learned a lot from them, but the best thing I learned is ...

Be coachable.

The ability to put ego aside, take criticism, get feedback, and realize that there’s probably someone out there that is doing it better than you, and you can learn from that.

We’re pretty good at what we do, but we’re always coachable.

We’re open to always getting better.

Better programming, better training, better customer service, and just better people.

If you’re looking to change something, in this case, fitness, nutrition, or mindset, you have to be coachable.

Always look to get 1% better, of course.

And realize that there’s probably something the person next to you knows that you don’t, and you can learn from them.

Be open to advice, be willing to try new things, and take the information they gave you and put it into action.

Be coachable.

I’m getting ready to land, and prepping for my day of coaching!

I’ll be back tomorrow to wrap up the week.
